Eight Coins' Tattoo Tarot
The Eight Coins Tattoo Tarot documents the artistic development of tattoo artist and designer Lana Zellner across 82 cards, including all of her original tarot artwork plus four pieces created specifically for this edition. The art draws from both tattoo and tarot traditions, rendered entirely by hand using a watercolor technique called spitshading. The deck comes with a substantial 188-page full-color book featuring enlarged images of each card alongside Lana's descriptions and her own insights into tarot meaning. The set also includes the Eight Coins Rose Spread, a layout Lana developed for the deck.

Lana Zellner, who works under the name Eight Coins, is a traveling tattoo artist and painter based primarily in the Pacific Northwest, with her home base in the mountains of Missoula, Montana. She holds a degree in architecture from Philadelphia University and spent ten years working as an architect, designer, and installation artist in Philadelphia and New York City before leaving that career behind in 2014 to pursue tattooing full-time. Her architectural background shows in her art, with a strong emphasis on linework, bold design elements, and detailed ornamentation.
