Mother Mort's Carnival of Souls is an elaborately constructed oracle experience built around a gothic carnival where the triple goddess Mother Mort presides over a world of karmic consequences and transformations. The set follows Jane, a protagonist whose strange odyssey through the carnival unfolds across a 32-card green foil-accented oracle deck with gilded edges, an 80-page hardcover storybook, and a full-color 76-page guidebook. A copper-foil carnival ticket is also included, doubling as a keepsake bookmark. Collector and reviewer responses have highlighted the deck's exceptional production quality, the pearlescent green holographic embossing, and the psychological depth of the guidance each card offers.

Matt Hughes is an artist and designer whose work has been shown in galleries worldwide and featured in publications including Realms of Fantasy, Heavy Metal, White Wolf, and Wizard Magazine. He is known for blending Art Nouveau aesthetics with gothic themes in a style he has called Gothic Art Nouveau, and his work has been recognized with gallery awards at the Society of Illustrators LA and Best in Show at DragonCon. Marie McWilliams lives and works in Northern Ireland, where she studied psychology at Queens University, Belfast. Her short fiction has appeared in anthologies, magazines, and book boxes.
