Tarocco Neoclassico Milano 1810

The Tarocco Neoclassico was originally engraved and printed by Ferdinando Gumppenberg in Milan in 1810, sometimes called the Milanese Tarot of the Napoleonic Period. The original cards were made from engraved plates and then hand-colored, and this second Il Meneghello edition from 2022, limited to 2,000 copies, faithfully reproduces those hand-colored originals with their Empire-style fashions and elegant figures. The Ace of Swords carries a 25-centesimi tax stamp as in the original. All card titles are in Italian, and the minor suits are swords, cups, batons, and coins. Each deck arrives sealed and numbered.
